ABOUT ME

My studies in ceramics began in 1994 at the School of Applied Arts Josef Vydra in Bratislava,Slovak Republic and I completed them at the National College of Art and Design in Dublin, Ireland, in 2007 with a Master of Arts degree. From Ireland, I participated in many exhibitions and competitions, which can be viewed in the EXHIBITIONS section. I taught at various places, initially in Dublin at an evening school while also working as a freelancer on several significant projects. After returning to Slovakia, I taught at the bilingual school of Juraj Hronca in Bratislava, where I was sent for training in Florence. I taught art in the holistic and globally recognized IB program from 2017 to 2023. I worked as an art therapist with clients with disabilities in 2016 and 2017 at Sibírka, a Social Services Home in Bratislava. Simultaneously, I focused on my own artistic creation and successfully organized two retrospective solo exhibitions in Bratislava. At present, I teach art externally in english at Co.Bra, a bilingual art school, and am fully dedicated to my artwork at my studio.
